Food Tour 18: Precious Day Outs

You  must be wondering why is there a fall in the number of posts. Well, no thanks to the coronavirus, my family has grown to be very particular about my fun time outside. Also, sadly, my health hasn't been that good so I am perpectually on bed rest if I am ain't up doing my daily runs.

We are also going through some major life changes and hence I thought the next post would be on the big announcements. Guess I can't keep this space too empty for too long, so I thought I will share with you some of the yummy food I have eaten thus far. (Note: I don't eat out that much as often now!)

I definitely featured this place before. Hehe, the food is really good but this is my second time there. The last time we were there I have to say the food was good but the service was poor cos it was too under-staff. Am back again this time round cos I had a craving for their food. Their services improved by quite a bit too! Guess I will be back again more often.

Am definitely treasuring my exploring photos a bit more than usual. Now that I am unwell I don't usually walk out as much. So on days like this when I am feeling a lot stronger than usual, we explored the black and while buildings around Buona Vista area. Am really starting to miss my strolls with the Hubs.

Maybe the Hub had felt a premonition that my diet won't be as easy in the near future, I was even fed and rewarded with chocolate drink and ice-cream while my appetite was good. Sometimes we truly take things for granted until we lose them. *Yes, I am feeling very emo as I am penning this. That's how poorly my health has been. I now have food restrictions and am so easily exhausted. I really can't wait to get well soon.*

An afternote here, actually chocolate is kind of a staple in my diet because I still love my desserts and my mood is a lot worse without my sweets. Surprise surprise, I still have my daily dose of chocolate but I am trying to cut down *fingers crossed*

This was taken on my last day out with my friends. It has been ages since anyone organised any meeting given this climate. On a happier note, this was the first time I have been to Shake Shack and I finally know why the queue is always so insanely long. This is because the food is so good, I love everything we tried in the menu. Even the sick me felt less so after the meal.

Because nobody would let me go home without a proper hang out, the exhausted me had to drag myself to The Mind Cafe and realise that the bunch of us actually don't know how to play most of the games. So, I pretty much pigged out there at their free snacks and free flow of drinks (which is too sweet by the way) and played only 3 games lol to the best of my ability. I guess I had fun from my happy smile in the photos!

Hopefully covid-19 will soon die down and I will be able to go out and play soon. Otherwise, I think the future posts will get more and more emo. :'(
