Umbra Sticks 5 Wall Hook

It is kinda obvious that I really love Umbra Hooks and their designs. Because we had 3 bedroom doors, this one took really long to accumulate at the budget I set myself. In fact, there was a point I almost gave up. I even tried to obtain a 2nd hand one from Carousell and collapsed emotionally when the seller was not responsive. By a stroke of good luck Umbra stocked up one piece and I immediately grabbed that missing one. And finally, we are complete. 

This set had better finishings and more colour options, but I went for black for consistency. We were also lucky because with the stopper, the pegs could be left open without hitting the wall behind the door. No complaints. For those who are also opting for this, perhaps you can ask a friend overseas to assist. 

Umbra Skyline 5 Wall Hook Review

 

Finally, our Umbra Skyline 5 Wall Hook is up on the wall outside our bomb shelter. This piece has caught my eye because it was such a functional statement piece. You can hang about 5 light items by moving some of the building pegs outwards. I envision us using it for our everyday items and maybe a jacket/ hat. My only grouse is that the finishing is not as good as its counterpart - Sticks 5 Wall Hook.

We took a bit of time accumulating this piece because I was trying to get it at a price within budget. For those who are keen, you need to put this piece on your shopping cart and keep monitoring on Shopee/ Lazada. Once a year, they will stock up a limited 1 to 2 pieces. With some stacked discounts, it will become very affordable. No regrets really :P

My Dyson Holder

As mentioned in my previous post, one of my biggest grouse was the bulk box. The husband found a solution and got me this Dyson accessory holder. Before discount, it is about $29.90. I strongly recommend this because it makes the organisation neater. And maybe because the accessories are in sight, I switch them around more often. 

The attachment points are magnetic so it holds the accessories quite well in place. Most importantly, it looks really nice! You are welcome!

Housekeeping Talk: Keep it orderly for 2013

Well, Happy 2013 folks!

I hope 2012 was kind to you. If it isn't, don't dwell on the past too much. After all, it is passing water. Do look forward and give a future a chance to present you with all the blessings it has in store for you. =D

During the new year, I like to give myself a new start. And usually, I do this by fervently packing my stuff. I like to think of it as organising your life up so that I am ready to accept better stuff.  Great way to prepare a good start. Haha

I know this may be an ordinary looking ribbon. But do not under-estimate what this may do for you, ladies in particular. 

I, myself have lots of hair accessories. mainly clips. Most of the time, I misplace them and toss them into some random corner. 

So with this ribbon, I pretty much clip all my stuff on it. And I hang it to the side of a hanger alongside my belts and ties in my wardrobe. I could even slot some headbands on its bottom.
