We have passed by this water playground at Kallang Wave Mall a couple of times. But most of the time, we didn't come prepared so we never really went for it. But this time round, we actually came for it. Generally, the area is not very sheltered so it is exposed to a lot of rain and sun elements, which make play time pretty constraint. The facilities are pretty fun and toddler-friendly area with lots of mini slides and water sprays.
You can see that some of the slides are quite worn, but given that it is free, I am not complaining. This is probably one of the safest water play area given that despite the waters being quite shallow, there was still a lifeguard on standby duties. I would have joined in with the children but I forgot to bring my spare clothes and swimwear. Otherwise, I am sure I will have fun too on the bigger slides.
There was also a toilet nearby with shower areas. And it was really clean too. In total, I think the children spent less than 2 hours there. For it to be a full destination, I think it still works because it was linked to a mall and train station, which makes it really convenient. After our water play, we went to the mall to grab some food/dessert.
Within the mall, there are also rock climbing facilities and an arcade to further entertain the children after. Overall the children found it a great day out because arcade and water play are probably 2 of their most favourite activities and were knocked out after. :D
