Yummy products with Pasjel

This is the stack of goodies I received from Pasjel. Pasjel is a Thailand brand and have a cute package that is not overly embarrassing. This is the first time I am using their products and it is really quite different from the other things I have used. (Is it cos it is Made in Thai?)

One of the products I tested was the Pasjel Sweet Scrub for the body. The packaging reminds me of a yogurt bottle. I expected it to be a solid scrub and was surprised to see a liquid guacamole. There is a refreshing veg-smell about it. (Healthy!)

I tried it out on the back of my hand. And mmm, it was yummy and refreshing. Wished the bottle was a lot bigger. After using it, you can feel a thin film of moisture on it. You know how some products give an unnatural smoothness to the skin. This doesn't. 

The Sun Fighting Gel was also very interesting for me. I like the fact it was a transparent gel so it didn't do any skin correction. Natural glow. It is not sticky but you can initially feel the thin film of protection. After a while, you won't feel any residue on your face at all.

The fruity, peachy scent was also lovely. It is like having the fragrance of a lip balm all over your face. Delicious. Overall, I really love the products cos maybe I am more of a scent-animal. I just love putting tasty products on my face. :P

Giveaway: The Sugary Skin Scrubs

To my sweetest readers, this is the giveaway you have been waiting for. With the sheer frills, you must be expecting something princessy. Err...read on to find out more. I personally feel this is rather a uni-sex product. Guys can use it too. :)

For guys and girls who are yearning for pouty lips, I have the perfect thing for you. To get kiss-able lips, I introduce you the lip scrub. I am sure many of you have heard of the face scrub to exfoliate the dead skin on your face. The lip scrub basically does the same thing, just that it is on a more sensitive and tender area - your lips. 

Will it hurt? Nope it doesn't. Cos the sugar grains used are very fine. It is also edible so it is perfectly safe. Due to harsh air-conditioned environment and my lip biting habits (dono when I picked that up), but my lower lips are kinda of cracked. With some scrubbing, they are as good as new.

So there are 2 flavours available - the Honey Lemon vs the Minty Cucumber. Personally, I think flavours doesn't matter because your lips are so far away from your nose. Do you really think you can smell it?!? Hahaha.

If you are hoping to brighten your lips, pick the Honey Lemon. Lemon, being a natural source of the lemon C can help lighten spots and tighten the pores. For a more hydrated lips, pick the cucumber. It can also help to keep your lips cool and refreshed.

Don't worry if you got your sugar grains not in a whole, you have to break it with your spatula when you use it anyway. I use it by scooping a generous portion and spread it over my moist lip surface. Do note it works better moist, as the sugar becomes softer and the abrasion will be less harsh.

You can either use your fingers to rub it against your lips or let both your lips do the job. After a good scrub, your lips may feel a little numb but the texture will be baby smooth. :) #Totallyworthit

And if you want something sugary for your face... Face Scrub! Can you see the glistening beads on my face? I felt like a fairy with them. Hehe. Compared to those scrubs off the shelf, organic handmade scrubs keep your face supple without damaging your pores. Look at my happy face!

You don't have to use a lot too, for my face, I was more stingy. Hehe. Depending on the amount you use, the scrub can last pretty long. And ya, I use a peg to clip my hair. I am a siao zabor like that. Wild, crazy girls do have more fun ok!

And mmm...presenting the most delicious scrub, the gingerbread body scrub. Not only does it look like a cookie, it taste like one too. Yum. Thought I would share with you a tip, using body scrubs can prevent ingrown hair in your intimate areas. Compared to off-the-shelf products, I personally prefer organic products just for that area.

Apart from that, body scrubs can also be...erm...pretty kinky fun. *blushes* The sugar taste so good don't they? :P

Review: Epure Membranous Jelly Masque

So lately, I have been trying out this Epure Membranous Jelly Masque. This is not really a tear-and-put sort of face mask. It is pretty much a DIY facial, which you can do in the convenience of your own home. The Epure Membranous Jelly Masque supposedly hydrates and deep-cleanse your skin, giving it a youthful glow.

Each box comes with a Spatular. My initial grouse was that is insufficient. But then, I realise I preferred using my hand when it comes to applying. But when removing, I would suggest using the spatular to scrap off. Please try to scrap off as much as possible because the product is stick and very slimy (My face looks like it is melting!). It will take a lot of water to wash it off!

Each packet is 30ML, but the portion is very generous. Either that I have a very small face which I doubt so. I would suggest using the product all the way to the neck or sharing it with your partner/ Mum/ sibling. So it is pretty much 2 for the price of 1.

Although not stated on the packet instructions, I threw one packet in the fridge and actually sort of preferred it cold Haha. You guys can try it out too. The steps are not very difficult. You just have to cleanse and tone your face before leaving the product on your face for 20-25 minutes. Remove the product and do your typical routine.

This is my before and after photo. The spots on my forehead did go slightly lighter but my face did not feel more moistured, partially because of the second cleansing routine. Can we just skip the 2nd cleansing? And just wash with clear water? I think the effect would be more visible. Or perhaps we had to use their whole series to fully experience the benefits of the products.

It is definitely more work than a face mask, for those who are very busy and looking for easy solutions. The cleanser and essence are not available for sales at present but I do think that they may be better stand-alone products, provided there is no 2nd cleansing involved.

Review: Bath Times are never dull

Hello there, I am Monster Mango...Growls. I am here to make you love your baths. I don't bite and I have a nice smile, and even a nicer scent. True to my name, I smell of a tangy mango, leaving you a soft and fluffy after a good scrub.

There is no more reason to hate bathe time any more. I will keep you hygienic. Even though, I am made of felt, I am soft when wet so don't worry about me leaving abrasions on your skin.

This is how I look like when I am wet. I am good with foams and bubbles too. Bath times are promised to be fun time. You will be safe in my good hands just like how I am in yours. Reciprocity! 

I am value for money too. You can use me for ages and won't really see much of a dent in me. No worries about an early heartbreak, your loyal shower friend is here to stay.

I am born out of a plastic wrap and my Mummy is Simply For Love. Check out all my others cute Monster siblings. Yipee! I am unfortunately none recyclable. So I die a little each time you use me. But your smile is all worth it. It is the happy moments that matter.

Even if I am gone, my monster siblings will keep you, my darling bright and cheery. When you see them. you will see a bit of me too though all of us look different in our little ways like snowflakes in the sky.

Review: Moisturizer From Korea

After my aunt read my palm telling me I am blessed with a good line, I have been anxiously protecting the fortune lines on my palm. I am obsessing with hand moisturizer. =D

All my friends say that it doesn't work this way. For all I know, I may smoothed those lines away. Really?!?

Anyway, my friend got me this when she was is Korea. Finally, I got around to using this. Mmmmm...it smells so good. Peach-like to be very precise. It ain't that good in moisturizing, but I am a sucker for the nice fruity smell. =D Plus, I have absolutely no intention to smoothed out my lucky palm lines. Hahaha!

I have been feeling really tired and shagged lately. I might probably test out some of the face masks from my friends soon. =P
