CNY Giveaway with Sunny Hills

I am not sure about you, but one of my favourite goodies is pineapple tarts. This year, I got to try some Taiwanese pineapple tarts from Sunny Hills. Unlike the traditional pineapple tarts, the crust does not use milk powder and is rectangular in shape. Created by a master baker with over 50 years expertise, rtificial additives or preservatives, the pineapples are hand-cut and slow cooked, custom-made for this product. You can actually taste the pineapple chunk in each bite!

From my understanding,Sunny Hills pineapple tarts are very popular with the younger crowd. For those of you who have tried it, love it and think that no other pastries in the world can top it, you will be shocked to know about Forbidden - the durian love letters/cigare.

The cigare is done finely rolled like a Japanese langue de chat cookie. Upon tearing open the packaging,the premium D24 durian scent waft around the living area. The cigare is buttery yet crunchy, and beware as it is super addictive. And the packaging is so incredibly gorgeous.

And best of all, it came with a cute bag :) which can be used to store your oranges or just be used as a lunch bag for OLs. Psss...the size makes a pretty decent tote handbag. This is truly a very thoughtful gift for the elders or corporate clients.

Playtime with Giggly Feet

This post is pretty much a first of its kind. Although I don't have kids, but some of my friends are in that stage. And I am guessing some of you readers might also be in that stage. So, it does make some sense to try out some posts that are more kids-themed.

We are working with Giggly Feet on this post. You may be curious what is Giggly Feet? Is it a penguin from Happy Feet? Hehe...Guys,Giggly Feet is a supervised indoor playroom! The truth is kids and parents nowadays truly have it better.

Don't be envious, but Giggly Feet consists of facilities such as sand pits, slides, trampolines, basketball nets etc. This is almost like an upgraded babysitting facility. Your children/ nieces and nephews get to exert their energy while you recharge.

There will also be other children here, for single child kids, the would have the opportunity to have more social interaction with kids of their own age and learn to make new friends as well as values such as sharing during play time.

Rest assured that these kiddos will be in safe-hands. The crew at Giggly Feet are trained to look after the children. Walk the Dog: Run with Snoopy

I am so busy with mugging lately. (T.T) But good news is ForFunk has great content on the way. It is just that I don't have the time to pen them all down. But stay tune, cos good stuff is coming. Just received something in the mail :P

On a separate note, I am writing cos I am doing a shout-out for something that is really exciting! I grew up with this character so I really wanna share it with you guys! Snoopy and the Peanuts gang are coming to Singapore!

The last time they popped by Singapore to run with us was in 2016. So lucky us, we have a cute themed run this year. There was a point when themed run were the rage and suddenly they were all gone. Just so you know, registration is ending on 30th April, 2018. So, do act fast if you want to join the run! Click here to register!

Psss.. a 6-meter-tall-Peanuts character inflatable will also be making its debut at the run. And runners, you will get a Woodstock drawstring pack and a stylish limited gold-ink printed T- shirt! New phone accessories with Fluf.fy

All the way fresh from Thailand!!! You know how much I love Thai stuff, in fact sometimes I wish there was a "taobao" for Thai-produced goods. They are equally good, cute and affordable. And their designer good (if you have deeper pockets) are one of a kind!

All the items you see today are from Fluf.fy. But their items are no where fluffy haha, but really adorable! As you can see, I got mainly handphone accessories and so really nice stickers! And a nice message (which is too sweet and private to share!)

I thought I would like to highlight to you this interesting wire accessory cos it is really novel and not available anywhere in Singapore. It is absolutely frivolous but it is so cute. I tested with the rainbow cone. (Ok without the cone it does look like a rainbow poop, which explains why people ask me eh why are you putting a rainbow poop on your iphone charger!) Hahah.

The instructions doesn't exactly make much sense to me. So let me tell you how I do it. First you need to slit the hole to be slightly bigger on the top. For the cone, I use it as a cover and protector instead. It is made of stretchy plastic so it can get a tiny bit dirty. But just wipe it and it will be just fine!

Generally, the products from Fluf.fy are all very pastel and the designs are generally more kawaii. If you are crazy about dip-dye (pastel ones), their wire organisers have a series of any different colours combination fathomable. The buckle was a bit tough, but given how much I love the design, I have absolutely no complaints.

If you are already getting something, you might want to get their water-proof stickers too! I like stickering and beautifying my art work and gifts, so usually I have a stash of stickers on my work desk. Psst...if you want you phone to match your notebooks etc, these stickers are a must have!

For anyone of you who needs a new iPhone cover, tada check out these cute designs. And yes, all of them have a stickers version if you seriously just can't make up your mind which one you want. The back is made of hard plastic while the sides are made of the softer plastics so it is quite flexible and won't be prone to breaking if you like to flick your cover in and out (I do that quite often to clean my phone!)

Dreamcatchers just for you

Sweet Dreams, I hope all of you are sleeping well. If you aren't, here's a old wives' remedy for all of you :D Wrapped up neatly and protectively, I am sure many of you are wondering what's this.

Is it edible? Nope.
Is it pretty? Yes, it is very.
Does it work for all? Well, you can pick and select until you get what you like... Hehe. Or you could always pick a pre-made one.

Presenting a dreamcatcher from Sahkyo & Co :D It is so pretty that even my brother and my boyfriend paused to have a second look. (Yea, and we thought guys are always not interested in such things! Guess they must have yet to seen something that has caught their eyes.)

Because I always think I am kinda of one-of-a-kind, I didn't pick anything off the shelf and got it customised instead. Customisation is pretty fuss-free, you just have to answer a few questions:-

Giveaway: Fashionable Sleepyheads

Rise and shine, sleepy heads! Ok, I previously wrote a lot on how to get a goodnight sleep. One of the most important element is comfortable sleepwear. Given the warm, humid weather in Singapore, I always like mine, light and airy. 

They don't necessarily have to be of lesser fabric. Sometimes I do wear longer pants too, rarely though, simply because there are mozzies around. But still they would have to be cooling because I hate waking up in sweat.

Most Singaporeans are usually pretty sloppy in bed. Cos you know, this is one way to recycle your old clothes that are not yet tattered but still cant walk around in them. So usually we home-wear them till we "hole" them and voila, we know got our rags to wipe when cleaning our house. 

But still it is always nice to have a nice, decent set of sleeping clothes. There will be occasions where you are sleeping over with friends who have never seen you in your worse, at dorms or even first night stayover/ vacation with the lover. These are times you are not ready to let some people know how much of a slob you can be.

So here's a nice set of sleepwear from Deshabille hailing from Australia, which is now available in Zalora. I picked for myself a Bellini Top in Black because it seemed versatile and Aviary Sleep Shorts. I think I picked slightly oversized for myself. Do note the top is quite a sexy cut in at the bosom area. If you want to double it out as a casual top, you might want to take a size smaller.

The shorts are adjustable, thanks to silky straps. Because I am using it mostly for sleepwear, I am ok with it being a bit bigger. I toss and turn like a turbulent wave, plus I really don't like the feeling of being wrapped and the feeling of things sticking to me in bed. #FreedomInBed

I thought I would highlight the design of the Aviary Sleep Shorts because it really stood out to me. It was artistic but not boring. I am not that much of a fan for striking designs but I really like the fact that the birds were gaily coloured and the straps were in my favorite shade of turquoise. I guess I am quite a blue person. *Chuckles*

And at the bottom there were the cute "pom-pom" designs that made it look more special and fashionable. Dressing well to bed does make you wake up more confidently to the extent of taking I woke up like this photo. The shorts are truly sleeping shorts, I wouldn't recommend you wearing them out unless you want lechers gawking at your legs. :P

Handicraft Time with Yunie's Handmade

So you know when a girl is in love, she would always want to have similar things with her better half. “你一个， 我一个， 一人一个， 多好!” Maybe it is just me. But I do notice a good deal of couples having dolls that look like them. And it looks cute in photo shoots and shots. So, I jumped the gun and custom made ourselves one. 

I can't do any domestic work for nuts. So mine comes from Yunie's Handmade. She is very experienced in couple dolls so you and your lover are in safe hands. I don't really have much distinct features, so I am a little sailor girl. The BF is in his trademark sky blue shirt. I forgot to make his pants beige LOL. But never mind, I will buy him a pair of white shorts HAHAHA!

But the whole point of this post is not just on the couple dolls, we have another giveaway!!! Claps Claps. And we, okay is actually Yunie, will be teaching you how to make them if you don't win it. Giveaway: The Sugary Skin Scrubs

To my sweetest readers, this is the giveaway you have been waiting for. With the sheer frills, you must be expecting something princessy. Err...read on to find out more. I personally feel this is rather a uni-sex product. Guys can use it too. :)

For guys and girls who are yearning for pouty lips, I have the perfect thing for you. To get kiss-able lips, I introduce you the lip scrub. I am sure many of you have heard of the face scrub to exfoliate the dead skin on your face. The lip scrub basically does the same thing, just that it is on a more sensitive and tender area - your lips. 

Will it hurt? Nope it doesn't. Cos the sugar grains used are very fine. It is also edible so it is perfectly safe. Due to harsh air-conditioned environment and my lip biting habits (dono when I picked that up), but my lower lips are kinda of cracked. With some scrubbing, they are as good as new.

So there are 2 flavours available - the Honey Lemon vs the Minty Cucumber. Personally, I think flavours doesn't matter because your lips are so far away from your nose. Do you really think you can smell it?!? Hahaha.

If you are hoping to brighten your lips, pick the Honey Lemon. Lemon, being a natural source of the lemon C can help lighten spots and tighten the pores. For a more hydrated lips, pick the cucumber. It can also help to keep your lips cool and refreshed.

Don't worry if you got your sugar grains not in a whole, you have to break it with your spatula when you use it anyway. I use it by scooping a generous portion and spread it over my moist lip surface. Do note it works better moist, as the sugar becomes softer and the abrasion will be less harsh.

You can either use your fingers to rub it against your lips or let both your lips do the job. After a good scrub, your lips may feel a little numb but the texture will be baby smooth. :) #Totallyworthit

And if you want something sugary for your face... Face Scrub! Can you see the glistening beads on my face? I felt like a fairy with them. Hehe. Compared to those scrubs off the shelf, organic handmade scrubs keep your face supple without damaging your pores. Look at my happy face!

You don't have to use a lot too, for my face, I was more stingy. Hehe. Depending on the amount you use, the scrub can last pretty long. And ya, I use a peg to clip my hair. I am a siao zabor like that. Wild, crazy girls do have more fun ok!

And mmm...presenting the most delicious scrub, the gingerbread body scrub. Not only does it look like a cookie, it taste like one too. Yum. Thought I would share with you a tip, using body scrubs can prevent ingrown hair in your intimate areas. Compared to off-the-shelf products, I personally prefer organic products just for that area.

Apart from that, body scrubs can also be...erm...pretty kinky fun. *blushes* The sugar taste so good don't they? :P

When I was in Korea seeing other couples wearing, I also wanted to wear! Haha. It is more natural for most couples to not share the same fashion sense so once in a while it is sweet to wear something similar :)

So on V-Day, me and the BF wore our Couple Tees. We picked "Today I do Nothing" cos as a Nua Couple, we resonated with it. Plus he likes the font. Haha. He said it is not that common and typical. I also thought of buying 2 different colours for us (i.e He wears Navy, I wear Maroon). You can do that too though we didn't do that. Their shades are solid colour so guys wearing it are still very manly. Hehe. One thing to note, their size are to the small side. My bro (rather scrawny) fits it nicely, but the BF, on the more bulky side (I refuse to use the word muscular) is on a good verge to do the Incredible Hulk any moment. Lol! So don't go too tight, Singapore don't need that many sexy man HAHAHA!
