Stay Safe (from the sun rays): Use Protection

I can go out with a bare face. But I always try to refrain from stepping out of the house without sunblock. By now, I am sure many of you know how damaging the sun is to your skin. Today, I have a new sunscreen to introduce to you. Sorry for the sexy header. Just couldn't resist it.

Before I go straight for the reveal, let me share with you some of its benefits to entice you:

• prolonged exposure to UVB rays can cause long-term damage to skin’s epidermal layers

I have my own personal favourites when it comes to sunscreen. The Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Gel doesn't fare too bad in comparison but it doesn't have any cosmetics effects. So in that area, I would rank it lower. But it definitely a lot more affordable than the current one I am using. Mai hiam bui pai liao!

If you want to stay youthful for a longer period of time, please use protection (sounds like condom advert). With a sunscreen, it can prevent the cumulative damage such as wrinkling and skin ageing. mySKINBAR: ASAP Solutions

So this was how I look like, without make-up, bare face and all...If you have been following my Korea journey and would like to get the same skin texture (I am not going to say good skin here because the definition of that really depends on the individual herself), today I would share with you a little more on the cleansing product that I was using there.

Before I flew to Korea, I actually dropped by mySKINBAR to know a little more about the causes of Acne and their products. I am quite fortunate I don't have Acne even though I do have occasional outbreaks especially when I am stressed. But do you know that it is actually not stress that cause those pimples but the resulting hormonal changes which "instigates" our oil glands to secrete more oil, which is the food for the Acne bacteria. And so this is how our face becomes a breeding ground.

Despite being relatively young, mySKINBAR has a good track records of customers with satisfactory results. I was given the sample starter set to put their products to the test. Just nice, the sample set (Inception Sling "Moisturizing Foam Gel", Beyond Control "Toner Sebum/ Bacteria Control") was enough to last for Korea and so I gamely took a shot. And I guess with the photo I show you above, I can say I am pleased with my sustainable clear skin. 

I didn't exactly got to try their top product The Crux "Corrector Gel" when I was in Korea. But when I came back to our lovely sunny island, I had a huge gigantic pimple at the side of my face and I applied it. For me, it worked better than Oxy. I don't know why but Oxy would leave a little burned mark on my face. So for those who suffer the same problem as me, this could be your solution :)

But my favourite product from them is the Touchy Classy "SunProof Sensitive". Above you can see this photo where I have only put on the product on half my face. It has this matte effect that helps to make your skin looks more even. The best thing it is water-based and is not like foundation. It can be easily removed without clogging your pores. 

Based on a bar concept, mySKINBAR is one funky brand. (ForFunk only shows you Funky stuff.) The packaging is very interesting. Check out this vacuum bottle whereby the bottom would slowly move upwards each time you pump. Was pretty bummed when I realise the bottle was not recyclable. If you are curious about the scent, let me tell you their products do smell pretty good. The tinge of methanol is light. I think this is just me, but I always favour products which smell good cos I just can't imagine putting something that smells bad on myself.

My Miracle Serum - V10 Plus Serum

Envious of ladies with youthful gorgeous skin, today I will be sharing the "secret". 3 drops a day and another 3 drops at night is what it takes to bring back the supple right back to your skin. Boi~ Boi~

 So this is pretty much the rainbow colouful therapy -V10 Plus in their pretty drip bottles. :) Based on my skin condition, I was given (6!) bottles for my skin. I sound that sounds really a lot to you. But there are 10 in total, which at a point in time I felt I just might need all. So these are the few which I tested. (Ooops, now you know how bad my skin is)

 So first of all, for the helpful people at V10 Plus to know what you need, you would have to fill up this consultation form on the current state of your skin. :) This is just a print screen, the list is actually quite long but it doesn't take too much time to fill up.

Any serum scoring more than 3 means that your skin is pretty much lacking the nutrients this serum can provide. Of course, I understand some of you readers might be thinking, that's quite pricey to get all. So I suggest you can invest in those that your skin really need first and slowly build up the collection. Less heart pain :)

Using the serum isn't rocket size, I just pour them all into my hand and massage (ok, sometimes I rub it on pretty violently, really depends on my mood) onto your face.

Most of the serum are colourless and in runny liquid form. They are also quite scentless too. The Pycnogenol serum is the sticky one but even on my skin, the serum is absorbed by my skin in no time. After dripping the holy drops on my hand, it does look like I have a tiny yolk on my hand! :)

 After using it for about a month, I do see visible improvement in my skin. Firstly, it is a lot more supple and radiant. Water-based, it is a very light product and easily absorbed. I don't suffer any breakouts from it. It is truly a product customised for Asian Skin type. I don't have to wear make-up and I can walk out of my house confidently. My Mum and Bro have stealthily stolen drops (that speaks a lot)

It is now my favourite serum and I will definitely continue to use it. Feeling very glad and fortunate that I have a chance to review this wonderful product. So if I do look gorgeous in my subsequent posts, you know what is going on, and you can be like me too. Don't say I didn't share *winks*

Now not only I have Baby Fats, I have Baby Skin. #Delirious. Apologetic about my selfie looking quite mad, studying is really driving me half nuts. Maybe I might need to take a break. :(

Review: Art of face mask

I never knew that there was so much things to know about face mask. Usually, I would just slapped one on my face if I was given any by my friends. I don't use any particular face mask.

Anyway, do you know that there is a face mask for different function! And are you supposed to clean your face after you put on a mask?
