Experience Connor's - Chye Seng Huat Style

Not everyone in our family loves drinking and the drinkers have always wondered how can we stay inclusive in my family gatherings, haha. Lucky for us Connor's has solved our little issue with a limited partnership with Chye Seng Huat Hardware (cafe, not hardware store) to incorporate Connor's directly into dishes and desserts. 

Beautifully decorated with Connor's colours, it brought back my drinking experiences overseas. If you love retro, Chye Seng Huat Hardware preserved its hardware shop roots and the industrial design. It definitely allowed me to soak in the vibe while enjoying my pint. 

Developed by Christina Ee, Head Chef at Chye Seng Huat Hardware, you need to check out the limited-time creations. Each dish draw directly from Connor’s flavour profile, using stout in a different way:

• The Connor’s Grill (S$12++): Chicken lovers will enjoy it paired with a creamy Connor’s stout-infused mayo. The stout is gently roasted and the earthy bitterness cuts through the richness of the sauce. 


• The Stout Stack (S$30++):  A juicy wagyu beef is topped with slow-caramelised onions infused with Connor’s Stout Porter, a sunny-side-up egg, fresh tomato and crisp lettuce, completed with fries. Very yummy


• The Connor’s Affogato (S$9.20++): Not to be missed, this is our absolute favourite. We would never imagined that the combination of espresso, vanilla ice cream and Connor’s Stout Porter would come so smoothly together. If you have a sharp tastebuds, you will taste the gentle carmel and chocolate notes of the stout. 

Beyond the food, we can also buy something home. There is a cute selection of Connor’s T-shirts, tote

bags, mugs and collectible pins available for purchase while stocks last. To sweeten the deal, every main purchased at Chye Seng Huat Hardware from Monday to Friday, 6PM onwards, will also come with a complimentary half pint (250ml) of Connor’s. Those looking to raise a full pint can enjoy Connor’s at S$10++ during happy hour, available daily from 6PM to 9PM (usual price S$15++).
